Fitness
I’ve been thinking about my fitness quite a bit over the past few months. I’d always say as a teenager “I don’t understand how people get fat. If they see themselves getting fat, do something about it!”. It’s easy to say that as a teenager when you can literally eat anything you want and not have to worry about stacking it on, but it gets harder as you grow.
Around a year ago, I found the weight starting to stack on. This was mainly due to the regulars; eating fast food, being lazy with little to no exercise. The weight crept up, going from 75 to 80; 80 to 85 within a year.
Today I decided enough is enough;I joined a gym and have dedicated 3 days a week to do a workout, sometimes more with only cardio actives.
After my first work out tonight, I can honestly say I feel better about myself, knowing that I’m on the way to being healthier and happier with my life as a whole. My girlfriend warned me not to go too hard, to which I replied ‘If I’m not hurting, something is wrong. I’m one stubborn mother fucker.’
I’m currently just shy of 90KG and will do my hardest to be within 80 – 85KG by new years.
